Whoo hoo are you kidding? Yes, pretty good work I'd say!! What are your plans next? To teach?
Shouldn't it be 24 years? It's only 23 if you don't count kindergarten, which is year 0 with the way primary grades are numbered.
/me does quick math to keep foot out of mouth...
1 + 12 + 4 + 2 + 5 = 24
And if you want to count preschool, that is even more, but I don't think you can count it because of the "pre" part. It's not school, it's preschool.
But either way, congrats on sticking it out to the end. That definitely earns you the Dr. title. I had to give up five years earlier. But some days I wish I could go back instead of working. Student life was pretty sweet.
Congrats, again!!! Non-student status definitely has its perks. An actual income, for one. So, what's next?
Haha- Vernon, you are just too smart. I was trying to be conservative with my results since some might argue that kindergarten and pre-school are more about socializing kids to the school process, but I like your idea of making the most of it, so I will consider it to be 25 :-) 25 straight years of school- YIKES.
Congratulations, Dr. Cheryl!! Keep us updated on the world to come outside of school!
Dr. Cher! You are the coolest!
