If a Picture is Worth a Thousand Words . . . .

If a picture is worth a thousand words . . . .
this one should be worth 50,184. That's how many words are in my 186 page dissertation. This is how I feel after finishing a very ROUGH draft of my dissertation today. For the past 3 weeks, every weekday has been spent working on my dissertation. I have only gone out to go to the gym at our apartment complex. William has been so patient with me over these past few weeks as I have really been stressed out worried about finishing it, if its ok, do I need more work, etc etc. I am still not happy with my conclusion- it needs some work but I just wanted it to be DONE by my deadline of the end of the month. I am just praying that my adviser will think that it needs just minor revisions so that I will be able to graduate this upcoming May. This is the hardest thing I have ever done . . . and its still not completely done just yet. But at least (hopefully) a good portion is. Now to have a break from it . . .

Congratulations! That's a HUGE accomplishment already. Editing is so much easier than getting it written out in the first place. Yay!

Cheryl! Awesome! Wow, it must feel great to have reached this goal! I bet it's great too - and hey, it's easier to rewrite a conclusion anyway if you're relaxed!
