Books Read in 2009

It was a great year for me to read books as I read 87 books. It is all due to my finishing up my dissertation and having some time to read for fun again!!! Some of my favorite discoveries have been Henning Mankell and his FABULOUS Wallander mysteries, several of the series by Alexander McCall Smith, Malcolm Gladwell's Blink and Outliers, and Angela's Ashes- to name just a few. Wow, Cher! I'm gonna have to tally my own reading, though I'm sure it won't stack up with yours. What did you think of Kathy Reichs's book? We've recently started watching "Bones" on TV and I'm intrigued.

Lauren- You should DEFINITELY read Kathy Reich's series! They are SO GOOD- I read most of them last year and really enjoyed them. We also love Bones, but the first 3 seasons were the best- the latest ones are ok but not nearly as good as the first ones. You should read them and let me know what you think about them
